Who has not walked by a Latino with a leaf blower and wondered if he was legal or not? I do it all the time. I wonder if he's working hard to send money home for his family back in (enter country, here). Or is he trying to screw you and I over by getting a pay check and a welfare check and not paying taxes. Let's face it, ALL of these scenarios are happening.
When the government takes my tax dollars and give them to people that shouldn't be here, it's like letting a total stranger move into your house, refuses to leave and spends your money.
The nation is on high alert for foreigners wanting to kill us. So what do we do? We make it harder for people to immigrate to this country by requiring visas and temporary work permits and student permits. Sounds good, don't it? We have all the entry ways covered, right? Not really. What about the back door? Mexico.
Have you ever seen a Keystone Cop movie where one cop tries to stop a mob of people coming at him and all he can do is blow a whistle and hold up his hand? Our boarder guards can't do much better.
The border between the U.S. and Mexico is a joke. Not enough guards and practically no fence to speak of. So what can be done?
I have a few non pc ideas.
1) Dig a moat along the boarder. Some people may say "well, the Rio Grande is like a moat". The Rio Grande doesn't have Alligators.
2) Dig a trench. Make it very wide. Roughly 50 feet wide by 50 feet deep. Electrify a fence on both sides of the trench and line the bottom with 10 foot long spikes.
3) If somehow they are able to make it past the trench, set up an automatic Denial Systems like they use in Iraq. They are no more than directional microwave ovens with the door open. They burn your skin until you move out of range, like say back to Mexico.
4) If somehow they are able to make it across the border after all that, then they should be bussed to the nearest military installation and made to pass a U.S. citizenship test and sent to the war front for 1 year with 3 years of reserve duty.
Illegals should be made to work for their freedom, not steal it from us.
